Many Will Enter College
Over one half of the class of 1914 of the Elmira Free Academy have announced their intentions of entering college next fall. About 58 have determined their college course.

Mrs. Sherman Voorhees Is Killed When Automobile Plunges Over Bank (Elmira's first auto fatality)
A late afternoon drive to view the beauties of this valley from the top of South Mountain resulted in one of the saddest fatalities yesterday afternoon ever recorded in this city.

Kills Big Rattlesnake
The first large rattlesnake to be killed in the vicinity of Elmira this year was dispatched yesterday afternoon by Jean Bertold "The Frenchman" on the large island that is part of his farm just west of Bohemia-on-the-Chemung.
